Wencke West
Wencke West is the legal assistant supervising our civil cases. She also manages our representation of Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) and Police Benevolent Association (PBA) cases. Her civil cases include personal injury, medical malpractice, divorce, domestic relations, employment discrimination, and auto and truck accidents. If you have a question about your civil case chances are that Wencke has the answer. Her direct daily contact with clients makes her invaluable to supporting the lawyers at Davis & Hoss.
Wencke was born in Germany and came to the United States when she was 9 years old. She moved to Tennessee in 1999 to attend Lee University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
Wencke's legal experience includes two and a half (2 ½) years with the 10th Judicial District Attorney’s office where she served as a Criminal Secretary and later DUI Coordinator. She was also a Deputy Clerk in the Circuit Court Clerk’s Office, Criminal Division for two (2) years.
Currently Wencke is completing her Juris Doctor at the Nashville School of Law with an anticipated graduation date of December 2012.
Before law school she was actively involved in several local elections and served as vice chair for a political organization.
When not studying for law school, Wencke enjoys travel, reading, music,cooking and the arts. She has a passion for adoption and issues concerning orphans worldwide. She is married to Preston and they have two dogs. Preston owns Keystone Solutions, LLC in Cleveland, Tennessee. They both love living and working in the Chattanooga area and intend to call this area their permanent home.
