Lanni Marchant
Lanni was sworn in to the Tennessee Bar by Judge Don Poole, Division III, Criminal Court, Hamilton County in November.
Lanni represents clients in court on criminal, immigration, and domestic relations matters. She has gained valuable experience from assisting Lee Davis and Bryan Hoss while a law student. She has been involved in serious criminal matters at trial in Georgia and TN; and, she has been in court with us for many complex federal court proceedings. She also is directly involved in appellate matters--briefing cases and presenting oral arguments to Tennessee and Sixth Circuit Appellate Courts.
Other areas of representation include Lanni's work representing law enforcement officers and
their families through the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) and the Southern States Police Benevolent Association (PBA).
In 2011 Lanni graduated with dual degrees in law from Michigan State College of Law and the University of Ottawa, Canada. Previous to law school, Lanni earned her undergraduate degree from University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
Outside of court, Lanni is an accomplished marathoner and track & field athlete. She recently completed the Chicago Marathon and was 13th in the elite women's field in a time of 2:44:09.
