    JUVENILE PROCEEDINGS

In Tennessee, juveniles are not convicted like adults, but rather face delinquency proceedings to determine whether a Court should declare them delinquent or not.  Typically, for first time offenders, this type of finding can be avoided, but you need an attorney who practices in Juvenile Court and is familiar with their rules and procedure and who has the experience and training to try your case before the Juvenile Court judge.

In the most serious of offenses, children are often transferred to adult court to face charges that carry significantly more punishment.  Every child is entitled to a transfer hearing and you need an attorney who has experience in fighting these hearings.  T.C.A. § 37-1-134.  These hearings can be won.

Davis & Hoss has represented hundreds of children in juvenile court.  Whether it is a drinking under age, minor drug possession, online bullying, or serious felony offenses, Davis & Hoss has the experience to represent you in court.
